Meursault

7th July @ The Queens Hall, Edinburgh

"Edinburgh's Meursault are one of the most compelling live bands to come out of Scotland for years, able to switch from the fragile and wounded to the cacophonous in the blink of an eye.
This is the launch concert for their third full-length album, Something For the Weakened, which follows on the heels of two highly acclaimed predecessors. Their ever-shifting lineup has solidified in the last year or so, but the band will be bringing a string quartet to the launch night to reproduce the depth of the arrangements on the new album."

This one is going to be fun. Nice and loud band on stage with an upgraded FOH system and a large live string section to float over the top of it all using microphones rather than pickups. I like challenges...
